Pilot Error

US Marines investigators have determined that pilot error caused the cable car accident that killed 20 people at an Italian ski resort on 3 February. Investigators reportedly determined that the EA-6B Prowler aircraft was flying through the Dolomite Mountains at an altitude of less than 400 feet - 1,600 feet below the minimum level allowed. A final test of the plane's altimeter will be performed this weekend, and the investigators' findings will be given to commanding officers next week to determine if criminal charges are warranted.
