In afternoon trading, stocks continued to say lower after three straight days of huge gains on Wall Street. Despite Greenspan suggesting interest rates will stay unchanged and word that the US GDP grew 4.3 percent in the fourth quarter, the Dow was down 34.38 at 7,938.64 and the Nasdaq was down 0.69 at 1,618.80.
