US Markets Fall...

Markets turned sharply lower after another black day in Asian financial and currency markets. US tech stocks took a particularly savage beating, and the Nasdaq declined 32.33 points, more than 2 percent, to 1554.28. The Dow was off 1.63 percent, losing 129.80 points to close at 7848.99.
