Dow Recovers, Nasdaq Dives

After plunging in morning trading, the Dow was headed toward recovery in early afternoon trading, down 3 to 7689. Not so for the Nasdaq, where investor skittishness over technology stocks drove the average down 9 points to 1629. Intel, 3Com, and Dell were all down.
