Thirty-one more people were reported dead over the weekend in northern Kenya's cattle wars. At least 60 people have been killed in raids between the Turkana and Pokot tribes in the past three months. The attacks and counterattacks are nothing new, but have grown more deadly as the nomadic animal herders have put down their spears and bows-and-arrows and picked up automatic weapons.
