NBC's Marv Albert, accompanied by his fiancee and enough legal representation to field two basketball teams, trooped into Arlington County court in Virginia this morning for his trial on charges of forcible sodomy and assault and battery. Roy Black, who helped William Kennedy Smith gain acquittal in his televised rape trial in 1991, will apparently argue the February encounter between Albert and his accuser in a hotel room was consensual.
